Great Autumn Ideas To Keep In Mind:

Picture
There are a ton of great books out there with Halloween themes.  Try to find books about autumn, leaves, or the fall too.  Books about seasons or holidays can inspire children to want to learn about the science behind the color change, the history of Halloween, and many other topics.  You never know when your book might spark the fire that leads someone to a career, talent or passion.  Keep up the good work and good luck finding new sources for books to distribute during your commute!

Awesome Response From Students!

24 September 2012:  Students from Crossroads Accelerated Academy at Elverson in North Philadelphia have started to help distribute books.  Students in class are shown the website and discuss the opportunity to hand out books.  Students are provided with books to hand out on their way home as they traverse the city.  Many of them are enjoying the opportunity to be thoughtful citizens and participate in our program.  Thanks to the staff and teachers at Crossroads for helping with this program.
